Beta expands your horizons. Literally. Whether through local service projects, state conventions, leadership summits or our yearly national convention, members have the opportunity to get out–and, in some cases, way out–to make a difference. It provides students with an ideal environment in which to grow. Not to mention, there’s no better (or more fun) way to see new places. Simply put, Beta offers a long list of one-of-a-kind experiences for one-of-a-kind students.

CONVENTIONS

Beta holds annual state conventions in 18 states, including 18 Senior Beta and 17 Junior Beta state conventions—and winners of these state events go on to compete on a national level. Activities range from academic contests to quiz bowls to talent competitions. Conventions give members the opportunity to interact, share project ideas and showcase their academic and leadership abilities. Plus, the conventions are held in exciting locations, giving members the chance to see cities and places they might not ordinarily have the opportunity to see.
